Multiple part-time chauffeur positions are available, with opportunities for additional hours based on business needs, availability, and performance.
Sacramento Limousines Unlimited provides professional luxury ground transportation throughout Sacramento, Northern California, the Bay Area, Napa and Sonoma, Lake Tahoe, and surrounding destinations.
Our clients trust us with airport transportation, corporate travel, weddings, special occasions, concerts and events, wine tours, long-distance transportation, and some of the most important moments on their schedules.

Previous limousine or professional driving experience is not required.

Is Chauffeur Work Right for You?
This is a professional chauffeur position rather than casual gig work.
Our transportation is pre-arranged, and clients expect a higher level of preparation, appearance, service, and reliability.
Chauffeur schedules are also different from a traditional 9-to-5 position.

Compensation & Gratuities
Starting pay: $20.00 per hour plus gratuities
This is a W-2, part-time/on-call chauffeur position.
In addition to hourly pay, chauffeurs regularly have the opportunity to earn gratuities from clients.
Much like service staff at a quality restaurant, gratuities are an important part of the earning potential in professional chauffeured transportation.
Chauffeurs who consistently provide attentive, professional service can earn meaningful additional income through gratuities.
Additional hours and assignments may become available based on business needs, availability, performance, and demonstrated reliability.
Professional Appearance
Our clients expect a professional chauffeur presentation.
Chauffeurs are required to arrive properly groomed and wear the designated company uniform, generally consisting of:
- White dress shirt
- Black dress slacks
- Black tie
- Black vest and/or suit coat, as required
- Appropriate black dress shoes
Employees are expected to maintain a clean, polished, professional appearance throughout each assignment.
Training
Previous limousine or chauffeur experience is not required
This is a W-2, part-time/on-call chauffeur position.
Qualified applicants who are hired receive training in areas including:

- Chauffeur scheduling and mobile applications

We are willing to invest in training the right person.
In return, we expect employees to take training seriously, retain what they are taught, follow established procedures, and consistently meet company standards.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Hold a valid California driver’s license.
- Have a clean driving record
- Be able and willing to provide a current California DMV driving record for review.
- Have a driving history acceptable to Sacramento Limousines Unlimited and its commercial automobile insurance carrier.
- Be able to safely operate assigned company vehicles.
- Demonstrate dependable and punctual work habits.
- Communicate professionally with clients, dispatch, and coworkers.
- Be comfortable using smartphone-based scheduling, navigation, and chauffeur applications.
- Be able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Be willing to work a variable schedule when assignments are accepted.
- Be comfortable providing professional customer service.
- Be able to perform the normal physical functions of chauffeur work, including assisting with passenger luggage, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Meet applicable regulatory, insurance, and company driver-qualification requirements.
Driving Record Requirements
A clean California driving record is required for this position
Applicants who advance in the hiring process will be required to provide a current California DMV driving record for review.
Our commercial automobile insurance carrier also reviews prospective chauffeurs before they are approved to operate company vehicles.
Chauffeurs who are hired are enrolled in the applicable California DMV Employer Pull Notice program, which allows ongoing monitoring of driving records as part of our safety and regulatory compliance program.
Commercial Automobile Insurance Eligibility
Driving company vehicles is an essential function of this position.
Employment as a chauffeur is contingent upon being accepted as an eligible driver under Sacramento Limousines Unlimited’s commercial automobile insurance program.
Applicants who advance through the hiring process will be asked to provide the driver information anddocumentation necessary for our insurance carrier to determine eligibility.
Drug & Alcohol Testing
Sacramento Limousines Unlimited operates as a licensed California charter-party passenger carrier under the regulatory authority of the
California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC)..
As part of those requirements, our chauffeurs participate in a regulated controlled-substance and alcohol testing program.
Testing is not performed by Sacramento Limousines Unlimited at our facility.
The program includes:
- Pre-employment drug screening before beginning chauffeur duties.
- Random drug and alcohol testing during employment.
- Other testing when required under applicable transportation regulations.
Testing is administered through an independent third-party testing facility in accordance with our applicable CPUC compliance program.
A Note About Cannabis
Cannabis/marijuana is included in the drug screening applicable to this position.
We recognize that cannabis is legal for adult use in California, and its inclusion in the testing program is not a reflection of Sacramento Limousines Unlimited’s personal views regarding lawful cannabis use.
However, professional passenger transportation is a regulated industry, and cannabis remains included in the drug-testing program applicable to our chauffeurs.
Our current pre-employment program includes testing through an independent third-party facility using a urine specimen, and marijuana/cannabis metabolites are included in that screening.
Applicants should simply be aware of this requirement before beginning the hiring process.
