Frequently Asked Questions
General
What services are offered?
Pre-arranged luxury chauffeured transportation across Northern California, including airport transportation (SMF, SFO, OAK, and private aviation/FBOs), corporate/executive transportation, special events and concerts, weddings, wine tours and custom day charters, group transportation, and non-emergency medical transportation. The fleet centers on luxury sedans, SUVs, limousines, and executive vehicles.
Where does the company operate?
Based in Sacramento, serving the greater Sacramento region and Northern California destinations including Napa, Sonoma, Lodi, Amador, and the Bay Area. Long-distance trips are quoted on request. All service is pre-arranged.
How do you book?
Online at www.SacLimo.com, by calling/texting 916.863.5555, or by emailing Info@Saclimo.com. The reservations team is available seven days a week.
Is online booking available?
Yes, 24/7 secure online quoting and booking. Quotes aren’t held as reservations until confirmed with payment authorization.
Are chauffeurs experienced and professional?
The company describes its chauffeurs as trained professionals held to safety, discretion, and service standards — punctual and well-dressed.
Are vehicles clean and maintained?
Vehicles are described as detailed before every trip, ceramic-coated, and regularly inspected and serviced.
Is group transportation available?
Yes, for both small and large groups — corporate travel, weddings, wine tours, and special events.
Can wine tours or wedding transportation be planned in advance?
Yes. For weddings, the team helps with timelines and multi-location logistics. For wine tours, chauffeurs are described as knowledgeable about Northern California wine regions (Napa, Sonoma, Lodi, Amador County, El Dorado Hills) and can adjust routes with time permitting; most clients plan their own itinerary.
Can special requests be accommodated?
Generally yes, with advance notice during the quoting process.
Do vehicles use traffic-enabled GPS?
Yes, described as standard across the fleet for route efficiency.
Payment
Is a deposit required?
Yes — a valid credit card authorization or a prepaid, non-refundable deposit is required to book.
When is payment processed?
Terms vary by vehicle type per the rental agreement. Limousine reservations require a 50% non-refundable deposit at booking, with the balance typically charged the week of service. Sedans/SUVs also require a 50% deposit, with the balance usually processed the week of service (full payment may sometimes be collected at booking based on demand). Additional charges — overtime, tolls, parking, cleaning, damage — are applied to the card on file per the rental agreement. Full terms are in the Rental Agreement provided with the quote.
Is service available outside normal business hours?
Yes, 24/7/365 by advance reservation; the reservations office may be closed after hours, but online booking, email, and dispatch remain available. Advance booking is recommended.
Are discounts offered?
No — pricing is described as reflecting the level of service rather than being the lowest available.
Comparison to Rideshare
What sets this apart from rideshare?
Cited differences: pre-arranged, guaranteed vehicle/chauffeur (no surge pricing or cancellations); career chauffeurs rather than gig drivers; a maintained luxury fleet; an emphasis on punctuality; personalized, tailored itineraries; and licensed, insured operation.
Why does professional airport transportation cost more than rideshare?
Cited value: pre-arranged scheduling, professional chauffeurs, real-time flight monitoring, a dedicated vehicle, and guaranteed pickup — especially relevant at SMF given parking and construction constraints.
Airport Transportation FAQ (SMF & SFO)
Do you serve SMF and SFO?
Yes, plus other regional and private airports, for individuals, families, and groups.
Why choose this over driving or rideshare?
Cited reasons: avoiding limited parking, construction, traffic, surge pricing, and rideshare delays at busy airports.
Do you monitor flight delays?
Yes, for inbound flights tied to a reservation, to adjust chauffeur timing.
Where does the chauffeur meet passengers?
Pickup details are provided in advance and vary by airport/service type; typically a designated commercial pickup area unless a meet-and-greet or private aviation pickup is arranged.
Is early morning/late night service available?
Yes, by advance reservation.
How far ahead should airport transportation be booked?
As early as possible, especially for SFO trips, early departures, holidays, and peak periods, to ensure availability and standard pricing.
Group or family airport service?
Yes — vehicle recommendations are based on passenger count, luggage, and itinerary.
Is SMF parking currently difficult?
The FAQ notes parking constraints and ongoing construction at SMF as a reason clients choose chauffeured service.
Is airport service pre-arranged only?
Yes.
Are long-distance transfers like Sacramento–SFO available?
Yes, quoted based on distance, travel time, date, and traffic.
Why Airport Clients Choose This Service Over Rideshare
A summary section reiterates: guaranteed pre-arranged service, professional (non-gig) chauffeurs, reliability at busy airports, a clean and maintained fleet, avoiding parking stress, predictable pricing without surge charges, suitability for families/groups/long-distance transfers, and licensed/insured operation with dispatch oversight.
